Just outside city limits in River Grove, Gene & Jude's has been doing hot dogs one way since 1946: natural casing, mustard, relish, onions, sport peppers, and fresh-cut fries dumped right on top. No ketchup, no seats, no pretense. Widely considered the best hot dog in the Chicago area, and they'll fight you if you argue.
